Terrible unfriendly, unhelpful, obnoxious and unprofessional staff; wait time exceeds what is normal.

On top of the stress and neglect that we experienced at the Milton Hospital they had the nerve to call Children's Aid Society and report me! Unbelievable! Degenerates!

My son is healing well with a cast now. The Children's Aid Society called us and obviously thought it was ridiculous and never called back.

Had excruciating tooth pain for 9 hours straight. Finally decided to go the hospital. Waited over 3 hours and no one even came to check on me. I asked 4 seperate nurses for help and was told they would see what they could do and no one ever came. I am a quiet introvert and found myself crying loudly and felt delirious because of the pain. It was also very quiet, not many people ahead of me. I realize there are those with cardiac issues or kids, by all means get to them first. But at least offer patients in extreme pain some relief. I ended up going to my doctor instead who helped me immediately, but not before the lady at the front desk gave me attitude after I once again asked for help and would have to go if I couldn't get relief.

Great experience in the new emergency department. Although the wait time was so long, I received an excellent care from the nurse and the physician. I have also received a discharge follow up phone call from the hospital to make sure that I am doing ok.

"Yes" I replied. "This is ridiculous, we've sat here for over two hours and nobody has as much as even asked us how we're doing!"

My son broke his wrist snowboarding at Glen Eden. The general admission staff at the Milton Hospital was reasonable. BUT once we were moved to the first waiting area the Blue Room the staff was unattentive and unhelpful, they didn't offer anything to make my son feel more comfortable and deal with his pain. I had to ask for ice, and the nurse or whomever got it for us, seemed bothered to do it. After that we waited 2 hours to get an x-ray....had I not stood up and said something I wonder if it would have been longer + we still hadn't spoken to a doctor of any kind. After the X-ray we were moved to another waiting room the Blue Room. Nobody spoke to us there or checked in with us, no doctor /no staff /nobody!!!

Very bad experience. Went there with our daughter after a fall. Took 6 hours for taking x-ray and getting it diagnosed by the doctor as double fracture in the ankle. The doctor applied plaster and bandage wrong way. He applied it directly to the leg without cotton application or sock. My daughter's leg was hurting bad until we got Orthopedic appointment after 10 days. The orthopedician told there's no visible fracture. Maybe a sprain in the growth plate and they put the plaster in the proper way. At least for emergency cases they should provide specialist appointments as early as possible.

The staff at Milton District helped us welcome our first child into the world last week and where nothing but helpful. Big kudos go to the nurses (Emma, Nancy, Mary, Nicole; everyone!) in the maternity ward. They were helpful, knowledgeable, genuinely caring and available at a moment' notice. 5/5; would have a baby here again!

So later on that night my wife gets a call from the doctor around 3 a.m. explaining that my son's wrist was indeed broken and he would require a cast!

I fell asleep and after another 2 hours woke up and my son said he felt better and his wrist wasn't hurting that bad anymore so we left. The staff was surprised that we were leaving and at that point decided it was time to communicate with us, what a joke!!! "Oh your leaving sir???" they blurted out.
