After living 10 minutes away for the last year I decided to finally visit Rattlesnake Point. I visited on a Friday afternoon in mid December and it was amazing. I essentially had the park to myself for my entire visit, I saw one person and their dog on the trail and 1 person in the parking lot.

Environment is great, can find lots of chipmunks there. Love those cute little things. It's a good place for beginners to practice repelling . Also amazing place for some jagging as well. Some facility need to be repaired or maintained .

Open year around. Extra nice and quiet in winter. There should be more over sight with people and dogs as people treat like an off leash dog park. Booth is open during on season, but is self serve in winter, so bring change.

We went out for my sister's birthday on May 24; it was a good time! There is the beach and then the trails for hiking! There are a bunch of cool caves, we had a snow ball fight because we found snow down inside a cave while hiking!

A great trail for 4-10km walks. Expect to pay $7 per person and for a lot of mud or ice depending on the time of year. If it's the winter wear cleats or be prepared. Very few bathroom and garbage opportunities but amazing views make up for it.

Being mid December I wasn't sure what to expect for maintenance but all of the paths were clearly marked and well maintained. I could easily see myself returning in the future and possibly purchasing a year round pass. Kicking myself for waiting so long to visit.

The views from the lookouts and quietness of the winter made for an amazing afternoon and the park 100% lived up to the hype.
